Mr. Ali Fawad
Ali is the founder of Mariner’s Horsemanship and a Marine by training. His teaching carries the stamp of service: composure, precision, and a deep respect for discipline. He leads live coaching, the master curriculum, and our signature mounted-archery work.
Riders describe his sessions as calm and exacting — he’ll have you repeat a basic a hundred times, then watch it transform everything above it. If you want to be pushed properly, this is your coach.

Mr. Muhammad Asad
Asad is the academy’s foundations specialist. Patient and methodical, he’s the instructor parents trust with nervous children and the one adults thank for finally making them feel safe in the saddle.
He runs the beginner and intermediate pathways and our groundwork sessions — the unseen work that makes everything else possible.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
We teach horsemanship.
Not just horse riding.
Riding is a physical conversation between you and a 500kg animal. It takes patience, repetition, and honest feedback — not flattery. Both Ali and Asad were trained in environments where results mattered more than comfort, and they teach the same way.
The horse will tell you exactly what kind of rider you are. Our job is to help you listen.

01 — The seat comes first
Before patterns, paces, or any technique — you learn to sit still and balanced. An independent seat is the foundation of everything.
02 — Groundwork before the saddle
You understand the horse on the ground before you ride it. Most problems under saddle are solved on the ground.
03 — Repetition without boredom
Mastery is built through deliberate repetition. Our instructors find new angles on old exercises so the learning never feels stale.

Progress requires truth. You will hear what you need to hear — delivered with respect, never harshness.

What riders usually ask before booking
Still unsure? Here are the four things every prospective rider asks us before their first session.

Do I need prior experience to start?
Not at all. Both Ali and Asad regularly work with complete beginners. The Beginner tier is built around the assumption that you have never sat on a horse before.

Can I choose which instructor I train with?
Yes. When you book, you can specify Ali or Asad. We recommend meeting both first — their styles are complementary and many students train with each at different points.

How long does it take to move between tiers?
It depends entirely on how often you train and how your body adapts. Most students move from Beginner to Intermediate within three to six months of consistent practice.

Is mounted archery available to all students?
Mounted archery is part of the Master curriculum and is taught exclusively by Ali. Students need to reach a confident canter before joining those sessions.
